New Journal
I'm deserting this xanga blog and starting another one. I'm tired of using Mama's screen name. This page will remain up, but to see any of my new posts from now on, visit www.xanga.com/ladypatroness

It's over, we're done with the Mikado forever, except for the DVD premier party and finishing up the scrap-book and washing our wigs and un-loading the van and printing our pictures...
The performances were lovely with only minor mis-haps. The cast party afterwards was the best we'd ever had! The entertainment by the cast members were hilarious. Here's a picture of the cast and be sure to watch the movie of our Director singing "Modern Major General".
Here the actors are with most of the make-up removed.

From now until after May the 17th, I'll be busy with the "Mikado,"
Everyone come and see it! You'll love it, and if you don't, I'll give you your money back, (the whole $5.00.)
Here's a few pictures to peak your interest...

I'm back from camping! (I've been back for quite some time, actually.) Everything was lovely and I only got a little sun-burned. We danced and played volleyball and danced some more. There were about 250 people there!
Now for some pictures...
I almost forgot one of the best parts of the trip. A biblical astronomy seminar brought a very intersting presentation, including real star-gazing with a very nice telescope. They projected the images from the lens onto that big screen in the picture so everyone could see close-ups of the moon, Saturn, (and it's moons,) whirl-pool galaxies etc...

Currently Reading
Death on the Nile (Hercule Poirot Mysteries)
By Agatha Christie
see relatedWe're going camping for a week, all during the feast of Passover. So, we get one week off from play practice and when we come back, it'll be to return to the stage!
I hope it's not going to be cold while we're in tents, but I don't want it to be hot either!
I've been reading Agatha Christie stories. They're very exciting which is what I like. Some of them are a little scary too, (which is also what I like). I think I enjoyed "Death on the Nile" the best. The endings always surprise me, I guess I'm just not good at solving mysteries.
